Patients

As a patient of a Changing Health Nonprofit Acupuncture Center, you will receive the best care possible.  Your acupuncturist will listen carefully, make you comfortable and treat you gently.

All needles are brand new, sterile for each patient and go directly into a medical waste receptacle after one use.

Your privacy is extremely important and your medical records are kept securely as per HIPPA standards.

Below are a few suggestions to help make your experience as smooth as possible.

  • Please wear loose fitting clothing, – a tank top and pants that roll up above your knees or shorts.
  • Eat a light meal before your treatment.
  • There are no appointment times. Patients are treated on a first come first served basis. Treatments last 30 to 45 minutes. You should allot extra time in case you need to wait during busy times. Allow extra time for your first visit so that we can do a proper intake.
  • Please speak softly with your practitioner during treatment so that others are minimally disturbed. Cell phone conversations are prohibited in the clinic.

We do not treat medical emergencies. If you do have a medical emergency, you must call 911 so that an ambulance can assist you to the nearest emergency room.In order to preserve the safety of all our patients Changing Health reserves the right to turn away anyone who is hygienically in poor condition.
